This printed backpack features a 1589 map of the Pacific Ocean created by the famous cartographer Abraham Ortelius (1527 – 1598). The map shows Ferdinand Magellan’s ship Victoria, which sailed back to Spain after Magellan was killed in Cebu, Philippines, to complete the first circumnavigation of the world.
